Digital Production by Disabled People is a collective of disabled artists that has been in existence since 2002. Membership is by invitation only. All members are dedicated to creating work that stands comparison to the best of contemporary practice, and to utilising innovative technologies.
As well as deploying a range of artistic practices, DPDP also contains people with a range of impairments, allowing a broad representation of the disability experience.
Members all work in the digital and creative industries during their day jobs, and bring an understanding of the wider cultural context to their work within their collective.
DPDP has created work across a range of disciplines, including Short Film, Sculpture, Fine Art, Live Art and Digital Installation. This Work has been shown in a variety of different venues. including the Bluecoat, FACT, Jump Ship Rat, and the ICA.
